Palavras-chave: crime transnacional; cooperação jurídica inter- nacional; redes de cooperação. ABSTRACT: Transnational crimes have acquired proportion at the same time as the globalization process. In view of the peculiarity of transnational crimes, that is, the involvement of two or more States in criminal prosecution, it provokes in State entities the need to (re)create a space of legal security and fight against transnational crime through International Legal Cooperation . This paper seeks to present the main traditional mechanisms of legal cooperation contained in the Brazilian legal system, its hypotheses of appropria- teness and procedure. Then, the link between Brazil, the European Union, through EUROPOL and transnational crimes is analyzed. Finally, this article analyzes the consequences arising from the use of international cooperation networks in criminal matters, having as its object Decree no. 10,364 of 2020, signed between the Eu- ropean Police Service and the Federative Republic of Brazil and its repercussion in the prosecution of transnational crimes between Brazil and the European Union.
